This is a great video tutorial for shooting light trails. You don’t need a Triggertrap to use this technique, any intervalometer will do.
I personally use the Triggertrap because I have a smartphone and I just think it’s easier to use. A standard intervalometer is about $20 the Triggertrap is $30 for my camera model. I definitely think it’s worth the extra 10 bucks.
