Is This Controversial Photography Technique Dying?

I can’t think of another photography technique that brings up as strong emotions as this one. Some photographers absolutely hate it – some are so enthusiastic about it that they refuse to shoot in any other way. Personally I think there’s a right and a wrong way to do it – and a very fine line between them.
