Forget About Auto – Use These Camera Settings For Manual Focus

This video in on the NPhoto TV Channel.

 

NPhoto is a magazine dedicated entirely to Nikon cameras. So of course they created the video with a NIkon. However, just like a Nikon the switch for manual focusing is in the same place on a Canon lens.

 

My favorite takeaway here is that by pressing the shutter button halfway while manually focusing you can see from the indicator light when your image is in focus. Just like autofocus it’s measuring whatever focusing point or points you have selected.
