[BEWARE PHOTOGRAPHERS] If You’re Shooting A Wedding Without These Items, You’re In For A Complete Disaster
Imagine taking pictures of the most important day of someone’s life, and then ruining them for good because of your gear. That’s a nightmare I don’t even want to think about so I have made sure it’s not up to me or my equipment if something happens to the photos.
There is a lot of camera gear that could and would be useful when shooting a wedding, but you need to be realistic. I shoot small parties, without a second shooter or an assistant so it’s simply impossible for me to drag around a 4-light setup with special modifiers, extra gadgets and props. I keep things simple, not necessarily because I want to, but because I need to.
These 5 items, however, I always have with me. Actually, I bring all of these even if it’s not a wedding I’m shooting. And when it comes to weddings, I’d like to add one more tip: bring good shoes. You’re going to walk for miles during that day and if you’re wearing uncomfortable shoes, it’s going to be the worst experience of your life.
