[ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS] You’re Lying To Yourself If You Think Professionals Only Shoot RAW
My goal in photography has always been to create such good images in-camera that I wouldn’t need to use an image editing software to bring them to life. I guess it has to do with the fact that I enjoy shooting film, where you really need to think the image through before releasing the shutter. Fortunately in digital photography you can do wonders with an image in post-processing, even if you haven’t shot RAW. However, there’s still that weird assumption that you can only shoot RAW if you want to call yourself a professional photographer.
