The Quickest And Easiest Way To Learn How To Shoot Star Trails
If you’re anything like me you love looking at pictures of the night sky. All those dreamy Milky Way images make me want to grab my camera and head towards an open field in the middle of nowhere, to try and get some shots myself. Unfortunately, where I live the Milky Way can’t always be seen, at least not very bright. I have more opportunities to capture star trails – which, in my opinion, are just as awesome.
If you have never taken photos of star trails or the night sky before, there are a few things you should know before heading out to capture images. Your camera body or even the lens you’re using are not as important as the right camera settings.
