While I consider myself a photographer and not a filmmaker, over the years I’ve found myself more and more interested in creating videos. I do prefer stills whenever I feel like I can capture the essence of a place into a still frame, but sometimes there are moments that require a video clip. You know what I mean?

However, nothing screams “amateur” as loud as a shaky video clip. You need a dolly to keep your camera steady, if you want to achieve professional quality. And if you’re not planning on switching to video permanently, you may not want to invest that much money on special gear.
