Your Photography Doesn't Matter - How To Create Meaningful Work

[ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS] No More Easy Shots!

This is something I tend to think about every single time I’m in a creative rut or when I’m lacking confidence as a photographer. It’s fairly easy to take magnificent pictures with the right gear and a little bit of knowledge on composition and exposure.

But what does it really matter if you take a great picture? Why would you even bother when we have enough photographers in the world already? Sounds brutal, but here’s a video to help you understand what I’m talking about.

My work is simple, but I use it to inspire my network of friends and acquaintances to get out and explore the world around them. I focus on nature and parks to inspire people to break free from their routines (and screens) and explore the natural world around then. I feel that I have been successful because many people have told me they planned trips because of my photos.

I like what you’re saying and I think I’ve been pursuing that work that matters and I’ve been done some work that matters.
My only wish for this video is that you didnt go too deep on why the important work matters. I mean what happen if there’s no work that matters; what is the function of that work you should be aiming for.
