How To Make Your Subject Stand Out When The Background Is Busy

If you have ever tried street photography, you understand how difficult it can be to isolate your subject. Shooting at crowded locations can make your image seem like this one big mass of people, which makes it hard for the viewer to focus on.

It’s the same thing when you’re taking travel photos, shooting a wedding reception or a popular event. There’s always a lot going on in the scene and it’s your job to bring the subject out in a creative way. It’s not always easy, but with a little practice you’ll learn to find ways to do that.
