I think I am fortunate in the fact that I realized early on that I didn’t have to have the best camera to create amazing images. In my opinion lighting is the key to becoming the best photographer you can be in the shortest period of time.
In the beginning, though, most photographers cannot afford expensive multi light setups. Even if you choose the most inexpensive lights, you’re still looking at hundreds of dollars worth of equipment with all the light stands and modifiers.
