It’s kind of sad and very strange that no-one mentions these things to beginning photographers. When I got started I think it was mostly because I didn’t know any serious photographers or even anyone who was interested in photography. I had to figure these out on my own, and some things might have been a little easier if I had known what it’s going to be like.
