Did Someone Steal Your Image? Here’s What You Should Do

I’m in shock. When doing some online searches for this article, I actually found a site that had stolen some of my images.

Image theft is extremely common these days. There are sites completely based on selling prints from stolen images, even using the real photographers’ names without them knowing anything about it.

We probably don’t even know about all of them, and it may seem (or be) impossible to stop them from taking our images.

However, if you find someone using your image without your consent, there are some things you can and should do. And if you notice a website using someone else’s work, knowing they haven’t given their permission to do so, you should contact the photographer immediately.
