This doesn’t require a lot of expensive equipment like a slider for example.
This video was created by Rob Nelson films for their YouTube channel. These sequences also don’t require an extensive amount of work as far as post processing is concerned. You only have to adjust one image in Lightroom and, the video sequence which is done in After Effects is really fast. I personally know After Effects so this would be super fast and easy for me. If you don’t know after effects you might need a quick primer but, this is really basic stuff for really advanced looking results.
