Shame On Me – I Didn’t Know All Of These Facts!
These days it often seems every other person calls themselves a photographer. I do not mean to undervalue anyone but when you take a snapshot with an iPhone it can hardly be compared to what photography used to be. For example, did you know it took an exposure time of 7 minutes to take the very first picture of a person?
Of course, even smartphones can be used for more serious photography, as long as you have some knowledge on composition and other camera techniques to turn your photo from a snapshot into a more interesting one. Surprisingly, though, not even all professional photographers are aware of the history of photography, and the techniques that were used when people couldn’t even dream of iPhones.
