What’s your favorite lens for landscape photography? I used to say it was my Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4. You can really get the whole scene into your image with a wide-angle lens such as this one. Adding interesting elements in the foreground and using leading lines that direct the viewer’s eye into the background is a great way of creating a beautiful landscape image. However, living in an area where there are a lot of fields and flat ground I was often missing those interesting elements. That’s when I started doing things a little differently.
