The great thing about digital photography is that we’re able to use all kinds of interesting tools and techniques to give our images that little bit of extra something. Whether these tricks are done with special camera gear or in post processing, there’s a fine line between what looks astonishing and what’s just too much.
I admit I’m guilty of some of these but recently I’ve been trying to remind myself not to go too far! It’s not that you should stop using special tricks completely – however, there’s a fine line between mesmerizing images and just plain tacky ones.
