The Most Expensive Camera Lenses In The World

Nikkor 6mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens: $160,000

According to an article on PetaPixel you’ll usually see this lens on ebay once or twice per year. That’s where I found this video at. It was created by a camera store in Denmark called Photografica. The footage shows the camera in rotation and from many different angles.

They even go through the lens’s 5 built-in filters: Skylight L1BC, Medium Yellow Y48, Deep Yellow Y52, Orange O56 and Red R60.

This particular lens isn’t in perfect condition, which explains the slightly lower price tag. According to the auction, “the body has signs of wear, inside the lens are dust particles and the front lens unfortunately has flaws in the coating.” But Photografica maintains the image the lens captures is sharp and issues with the coating are very difficult to see.
