Tony and Chelsea Northrup are professional photographers who shoot a lot of studio photography.
Tony is explaining the benefits of using a method called tethering. Being able to look at your images on a computer screen while you’re on the set makes a huge difference in your photos. You can see right away if your exposure is a bit off – you can even show your client what looks good and what you would like them to correct in their pose. Tony and Chelsea are using a Canon 5Dsr with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens in this photoshoot, and they are tethering to Capture One Pro 8 software. Tony explains why he is not using Lightroom for tethering.
