Before Photoshop there was Rene Burri. Rene photographed the iconic image of Che Guevara smoking a cigar in his office. He also had the opportunity during his lifetime to photograph Pablo Picasso. He died yesterday at the age of 81. Here is a video interview of him with six of his most iconic images.
Something you probably didn’t know is that Che Guevara was a passionate photographer. Rene talks in his interview about how he hopes in the future that some photographers will make it a point NOT to use Photoshop so that future generations can see what the world truly looked like.
