Running your own photography business – or any kind of business that is very much driven by art and passion, may seem a little crazy to others. And yes, it can be. When you are working for yourself there are so many uncertain factors that you’re bound to get scared every now and then. What makes or breaks a successful professional photographer is how they deal with those fears.

It seems like the biggest fear is not being able to make it financially as a photographer. For me personally I think this is a marketing not a creative problem. I think a lot of photographers don’t want to embrace the sales and marketing end of their business.
