I found this Youtube video that was created by photographer Joshua Cripps and, I think it’s a really good one.
I took martial arts as a child. The one thing our teacher did consistently was drill us on basic punches and kicks in every class.
It’s a firm foundation in the basics that makes a great martial artist. Not some over complicated advanced technique. I believe the same principle applies to photography.
With that being said here are 7 of those basics you need to drill on constantly. So the next time someone tells you that you have a great camera tell them. “Thanks- I taught it everything it knows.”
